Death Is Only The Beginning ?!!?

More or less in every religion soul is defined as an eternal and immortal entity. After death the soul leaves the mortal body and travels to where it is destined. Science has always been harsh to the theory. It only considers it as a consciousness of human mind; which dies with the death of the body. But now the quantum theory has introduced something else within the area of science and logic. Let’s see what it is !!

The Myth

In Islam it is believed that
the soul is immortal and eternal, and that what a person does is recorded and will be judged at the final court of God.
The Qur'an mentions the soul:
“It is Allah that takes the souls at death: and those that die not (He takes their souls) during their sleep: those on whom He has passed the Decree of death He keeps back (their souls from returning to their bodies); but the rest He sends (their souls back to their bodies) for a term appointed. Verily in this are Signs for those who contemplate. “- Qur'an 39:42

In Hinduism
The soul becomes involved in the process of becoming and transmigrating through cycles of birth and death because of ignorance of its own true nature. The spiritual path consists of self-realization – a process in which one acquires the knowledge of the self (brahma-jñanam) and through this knowledge applied through meditation and realization one then returns to the Source which is Brahman.

According to a common
Christian eschatology, when people die, their souls will be judged by God and determined to spend an eternity in Heaven or in Hell.

Buddhism teaches that all things are in a constant state of flux: all is changing, and no permanent state exists by itself. This applies to human beings as much as to anything else in the cosmos. Although some Buddhists believe the eternity of souls.

The Science…

Lanza is an expert in regenerative medicine and scientific director of Advanced Cell Technology Company. But not so long ago, the scientist became involved with physics, quantum mechanics and astrophysics. This explosive mixture has given birth to the new theory of biocentrism, which the professor has been preaching ever since.
The theory implies that death simply does not exist. It is an illusion which arises in the minds of people. It exists because people identify themselves with their body. They believe that the body is going to perish, sooner or later, thinking their consciousness will disappear too. In fact, consciousness exists outside of constraints of time and space. It is able to be anywhere: in the human body and outside of it. That fits well with the basic postulates of quantum mechanics science, according to which a certain particle can be present anywhere and an event can happen according to several, sometimes countless, ways.
Lanza believes that multiple universes can exist simultaneously. These universes contain multiple ways for possible scenarios to occur. In one universe, the body can be dead. And in another it continues to exist, absorbing consciousness which migrated into this universe.
This means that a dead person while traveling through the same tunnel ends up not in hell or in heaven, but in a similar world he or she once inhabited, but this time alive. And so on, infinitely.

Multiple worlds

This hope-instilling, but extremely controversial theory by Lanza has many unwitting supporters, not just mere mortals who want to live forever, but also some well-known scientists. These are the physicists and astrophysicists who tend to agree with existence of parallel worlds and who suggest the possibility of multiple universes. Multiverse (multi-universe) is a so-called scientific concept, which they defend. They believe that no physical laws exist which would prohibit the existence of parallel worlds.
The first one was a science fiction writer H.G. Wells who proclaimed in 1895 in his story “The Door in the Wall”.  And after 62 years, this idea was developed by Hugh Everett in his graduate thesis at the Princeton University. It basically posits that at any given moment the universe divides into countless similar instances. And the next moment, these “newborn” universes split in a similar fashion. In some of these worlds you may be present: reading this article in one universe, or watching TV in another.
The triggering factor for these multiplying worlds is our actions, explained Everett. If we make some choices, instantly one universe splits into two with different versions of outcomes.
In the 1980s, Andrei Linde, scientist from the Lebedev’s Institute of physics, developed the theory of multiple universes. He is now a professor at Stanford University.
Linde explained: Space consists of many inflating spheres, which give rise to similar spheres, and those, in turn, produce spheres in even greater numbers, and so on to infinity. In the universe, they are spaced apart. They are not aware of each other’s existence. But they represent parts of the same physical universe.
The fact that our universe is not alone is supported by data received from the Planck space telescope. Using the data, scientists have created the most accurate map of the microwave background, the so-called cosmic relic background radiation, which has remained since the inception of our universe. They also found that the universe has a lot of dark recesses represented by some holes and extensive gaps.
Theoretical physicist Laura Mersini-Houghton from the North Carolina University with her colleagues argue: the anomalies of the microwave background exist due to the fact that our universe is influenced by other universes existing nearby. And holes and gaps are a direct result of attacks on us by neighboring universes.

Soul quanta

So, there is abundance of places or other universes where our soul could migrate after death, according to the theory of neo-biocentrism. But does the soul exist?
Professor Stuart Hameroff from the University of Arizona has no doubts about the existence of eternal soul. As recently as last year, he announced that he has found evidence that consciousness does not perish after death.
According to Hameroff, the human brain is the perfect quantum computer and the soul or consciousness is simply information stored at the quantum level. It can be transferred, following the death of the body; quantum information represented by consciousness merges with our universe and exist there indefinitely. The biocentrism expert Lanza proves that the soul migrates to another universe. That is the main difference from his other colleagues.

Sir Roger Penrose, a famous British physicist and expert in mathematics from Oxford, supports this theory, and he has also found traces of contact with other universes. Together, the scientists are developing quantum theory to explain the phenomenon of consciousness. They believe that they found carriers of consciousness, the elements that accumulate information during life, and after death of the body they “drain” consciousness somewhere else. These elements are located inside protein-based microtubules (neuronal microtubules), which previously have been attributed a simple role of reinforcement and transport channeling inside a living cell. Based on their structure, microtubules are best suited to function as carriers of quantum properties inside the brain. That is mainly because they are able to retain quantum states for a long time, meaning they can function as elements of a quantum computer.

Time Travelling - One Crazy Idea !

Who doesn’t want to go to the future to see what’s going to happen to him ! Or who doesn’t want to undo his mistakes by going back to his past ! Human being have always longed to travel through time...though it has always been a fiction or myth. Yet we cannot disagree every sci-fi is based on at least some scientific explanations.

The Fiction...

There is no strong proof of time traveling in earliest history of mankind but some religious examples, folk tales and myths. For example the concept of time traveling is introduced in Islam, Hindu mythology, Budhhism. Well, they are quite ambiguous. The Quran says there are heavenly doors which are galactic shortcuts to distant places in the universe. Maybe the angels use these doors for long distance travel. Angels can accelerate up to the speed of light for domestic travel; but they use these wormholes to reach any place in the universe even faster. There is a possibility that Prophet S.A.W. used a wormhole once in the event of Isra' and Mi'raj. in Hindu mythology, the Mahabharata mentions the story of the King Raivata Kakudmi, who travels to heaven to meet the creator Brahma and is shocked to learn that many ages have passed when he returns to Earth.

The Science...

These are vague ideas of time traveling. But scientists believe that  it is possible ! How??

1. Moving Faster Than Light

According to their theory, speed is indirectly proportional to time. Higher the speed, slower the time. Some of the stars we view from earth, might not exist anymore, but because of their large distance from us, their light reaches us years later. Example: Someone many light-years away from us, might still see earth with dinosaurs!!!

As for time travel, there’s nothing concrete about it. Most of it seems that we can somehow slow it down by travelling at light speeds. By this, you will age by only 10 yrs, but when you return, the actual years passed might have been 100..This is the by far the most simple concept how one can manipulate time. It is same as the phenomenon Twin Paradox. For example if observer A sends a signal to observer B which moves faster than light in A's frame but backwards in time in B's frame, and then B sends a reply which moves faster than light in B's frame but backwards in time in A's frame, it could work out that A receives the reply before sending the original signal, a clear violation of causality in every frame. The scenario is sometimes referred to as a Tachyonic Antitelephone.

2. Intense Gravitational Field

For the passengers of th space ship, time would have become frozen. This phenomenon is termed time dilation, and it has negated our conventional understanding of time as a leisurely-flowing stream. As Macvey points out, such "relativistic travel" can theoretically take place only into the future, and not into the past. As time is being stretched, space is being compressed.

To cause time to freeze, one would need an intense gravitational field, which can be found at the margins of what is popularly called a black hole. The main difficulty consists in finding such a hole . Circle a black hole long enough, and gravitational time dilation will take you into the future. scientists agree the black hole would probably crush you, but one unique variety of black hole might not: the Kerr black hole or Kerr ring.

3. Kerr Black Hole

In 1963, Roy Kerr, a New Zealand mathematician, found a solution of Einstein’s equations for a rotating black hole, which had bizarre properties. The black hole would not collapse to a point (as previously thought) but into a spinning ring (of neutrons). The ring would be circulating so rapidly that

centrifugal force would keep the ring from collapsing under gravity. The ring, in turn, acts like the Looking Glass of Alice. Anyone walking through the ring would not die, but could pass through the ring into an alternate universe. Since then, hundreds of other “wormhole” solutions have been found to Einstein’s equations. These wormholes connect not only two regions of space (hence the name) but also two regions of time as well. In principle, they can be used as time machines.

Kerr Black Hole and worm holes are purely theoretical. Yet it’s fun to realize what would such thing lead us to ! A wild adventure of which no one knows the end.

4. Cosmic String

On the other hand Physicist J. Richard Gott introduced the idea of cosmic string in 1991. They are string like objects which are believed to be formed in the early universe. These strings may weave throughout the entire universe, thinner than an atom and under immense pressure. Naturally, this means they exerts quite a gravitational pull on anything that passes near them, enabling objects attached to a cosmic string to travel at incredible speeds and benefit from time dilation. So if we can pull two cosmic strings close together or stretch one string close to a black hole, we may warp space-time enough to create what's called a closed time like curve.

The way this works is that two cosmic strings cross paths with each other in a certain way, moving at very high speeds. A spaceship traveling along the curves could take a very precise path (several of which were worked out by Curt Cutler in the months after Gott’s publication) and arrive at its starting position, in both space and time, allowing for travel in time.Cosmic strings, if they exist, would be extremely thin with diameters on the same order as a proton. They would have immense density, however, and so would represent significant gravitational sources. A cosmic string 1.6 kilometers in length may be heavier than the Earth.

Interestingly enough, Stephen Hawking who once opposed the idea of time travelling claiming that he had empirical evidence against it; now believes that time traveling is possible. The enormous amount of work one b the theoretical Physicists within the last 5 years or so made him change his mind !! So what do you think ??

Parallel Universe

Parallel universes…sounds like a geeky shit. And when it means there are several other copies of Miley Cyrus , Justin Bieber, Nicky Minaj...it's quite disappointing ! Well it’s weird and at the same time fun to consider that there is another “You” living a life just as well as you & you didn’t even know about it !

The Fiction...

In many religious mythology the concept of parallel universe is enlightened. For example in Hindu Puranic Literature there lies the concept of multiple universe.Where Lord Śiva said: "My dear son, I, Lord Brahmā and the other devas, who move within this universe under the misconception of our greatness, cannot exhibit any power to compete with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, for innumerable universes and their inhabitants come into existence and are annihilated by the simple direction of the Lord" -(Bhagavata Purana 9.4.56)

"After separating the different universes, the gigantic universal form of the Lord, which came out of the causal ocean, the place of appearance for the first puruṣa-avatāra, entered into each of the separate universes, desiring to lie on the created transcendental water "-(Bhagavata Purana 2.10.10)

The concept of parallel universes appears in the Brahma Vaivarta Purana: "And who will search through the wide infinities of space to count the universes side by side, each containing its Brahma, its Vishnu, its Shiva? Who can count the Indras in them all--those Indras side by side, who reign at once in all the innumerable worlds; those others who passed away before them; or even the Indras who succeed each other in any given line, ascending to godly kingship, one by one, and, one by one, passing away?"

There are seven verses in the Quran describing seven heavens. One verse says that each heaven or sky has its own order, possibly meaning laws of nature. After mentioning the seven heavens, another verse says, "and similar earths". Examples include verse (67:3) "He(God) who created the seven tournaments (heavens) one imposed over the other..."

Fakhr al-Din al-Razi (1149–1209), in dealing with his conception of physics and the physical world in his Matalib, "explores the notion of the existence of a multiverse in the context of his commentary" on the Qur'anic verse, "All praise belongs to God, Lord of the Worlds." He raises the question of whether the term "worlds" in this verse refers to "multiple worlds within this single universe or cosmos, or to many other universes or a multiverse beyond this known universe." In volume 4 of the Matalib, Al-Razi states.

The concept of infinite worlds is mentioned in the Apannaka Jataka: "Disciples," the Buddha said "nowhere between the lowest of hells below and the highest heaven above, nowhere in all the infinite worlds that stretch right and left, is there the equal, much less the superior, of a Buddha. Incalculable is the excellence which springs from obeying the Precepts and from other virtuous conduct." - Apannaka Jataka

The Science...

Oxford Universities Dr. David Deutsche believes a copy of you could be reading this article on a planet in another universe identical to ours, except this copy of you has won the lottery.

Many of you  believe it’s just another  myth. But well……that’s not true ! In fact this fiction is based on some mind boggling facts which can drive you crazy. Though you are considering the idea now it started way before you can imagine.

In 1954, a young Princeton University doctoral candidate named Hugh Everett III came up with a radical idea: That there exist parallel universes, exactly like our universe. These universes are all related to ours; indeed, they branch off from ours, and our universe is branched off of others. Within these parallel universes, our wars have had different outcomes than the ones we know. Species that are extinct in our universe have evolved and adapted in others. In other universes, we humans may have become extinct. Sounded like a lunatic ! But can a young thriving physicist risk his future by posting a crazy idea like that !!

1. Einstein's Theory Of Relativity

In 1905 Albert Einstein delivered four great papers, including one on the special theory of relativity. He spent the next decade or so working out the general theory of relativity and became world famous for his brilliance. But he could never quite come to terms with quantum mechanics, the theory of the odd and bizarre happenings inside atoms. He spent the rest of his life trying to reconcile gravity and his general theory of relativity with the forces that govern the behavior of atomic particles.
He never succeeded, and he never accepted quantum mechanics. And why should he? From a layman’s standpoint, the theory is almost nonsensical. Quantum mechanics aims to describe the physics of very small objects, but it’s entirely a counter-intuitive science as nothing at the sub-atomic scale can be considered to exist until it is observed, and these particles can appear to exist in two places at the same time.

For quantum mechanics to be valid, strange phenomenon such as parallel universes must exist outside of Star Trek episodes. And now, according to New Scientist, some British mathematicians have now shown that key equations of quantum mechanics arise from the mathematics of parallel universes.

Einstein's theory of relativity predicted the existence of "black holes", a hypothesis which has since been verified. These cosmic phenomena arise from the death of a star, after it collapses in on itself under the force of its own gravity. Inside a black hole, gravity is so intense that even light cannot escape the gravitational field (hence the name black hole).

2. Einstein-Rosen Bridge

Albert Einstein and another physicist by the name of Nathan Rosen posited that each black hole would symmetrically on another gravitational well called a white hole (or sometimes also white fountain). The black hole/white hole pair would form a "wormhole", or vortex (the inter-dimensional passage used by the Sliders, called an Einstein-Rosen Bridge).
Thus  if one fell into a black hole, one might be sucked down a tunnel (called the “Einstein-Rosen bridge”) and shot out a “white hole” in a parallel universe! Kerr showed that a spinning black hole would collapse not into a point, but to a “ring of fire.” Because the ring was spinning rapidly, centrifugal forces would keep it from collapsing. Remarkably, a space probe fired directly through the ring would not be crushed into oblivion, but might actually emerge unscratched on the other side of the Einstein-Rosen bridge, in a parallel universe. This “wormhole” may connect two parallel universes, or even distant parts of the same universe.

3. Antimatter

The second hypothesis is that the total absense of antimatter in the universe. According to the universe's governing principle of symmetry, there must be equal amounts of matter and antimatter. However, we have failed to discover the slightest trace of the latter, although we have succeeded in producing it artificially (at the CERN laboratory in Geneva, Switzerland in 1995, and in other particle accelerators). The existence of parallel universes could explain the lack of antimatter in our world. In parallel dimensions, then, there could be objects similar to the planets and stars we are familiar with in our own, but constructed of antimatter (this is one of the most recent theories, after the principles of asymmetry, and of the annihilation frontier).

4. Energy And Dark Matter

Now remember  the very equation which made your high school physics course a crazy one. E=mc^2

I bet nobody that time thought that  this equation may lead human to a fact impossible to believe. So what does it imply..

First one which pushed Einstein to multiverse idea was that, Energy in an atom is the product of two light particles moving in opposite direction in maximum speed. This invariably means there are two parallel worlds from which these light particles emerge.
Second one is that the equation gives rises to the theory of existing Dark Matter. The standard model of Universe has only four or five percent of matter. The rest is dark matter, which accounts for 23 percent of the universe, and dark energy, a mysterious force that is believed to influence the expansion of the universe and that represent 72 to 73 percent of the universe.

“Behind the dark matter could be hiding a parallel world where the really interesting things happen. It could also mean that nature is much richer than we think, “said James Bullock of the University of California.

Scientists have not been able to confirm the existence of dark matter in spite of the experiment worth $ 2 billion, which was conducted on the International Space Station. However, the new theory is that dark matter could be hiding a parallel universe that could completely change the way we understand the universe

Well, I won’t fuck up my brain with another assumption as there is already many of them. So, let’s just be amazed of the facts we came through. And the best part is all the fictions from Star-Trek and Fringe are gradually converting into a true science...theoretically !!

Marfa Lights

The Marfa Lights are named for their location near the town of Marfa, Texas. Marfa is a small ranching community on a Chihuahuan Desert plateau in the Trans-Pecos area of west Texas. Supported mostly by ranching, and more recently by tourism, it is surrounded by vast mountains and is Texas’ highest incorporated city. Marfa is known primarily for its famous Marfa Mystery Lights and as the location for the shooting of the classic movie “Giant,” with Rock Hudson, Elizabeth Taylor, Dennis Hopper and James Dean.

The Ghost lights of Marfa still shine as bright as ever, and are still as mysterious as they were when they were first seen by early settlers who drove their herds into the Marfa area in 1883.

Who can explain their source? Where are they actually located? How long have they been in existence? The mystery is no closer to being solved now than when they were first seen.

Robert Ellison came to Marfa in 1883 and off-loaded his cattle in Alpine. He then drove the herd west and on the second night out, while camped just outside Paisano Pass, he saw strange lights in the distance. At first, it was feared that they were Apache signal fires. Mr. Ellison searched the countryside by horseback. He finally realized that the lights were not man-made. Other early settlers assured him that they too had seen the lights and had never been able to identify them.

The Marfa Lights are reported to be from 1-10 feet in diameter. They are spherical and reddish-orange in color. They have been observed to vary their size and fly at high speeds. Numerous photographs and video footage have captured these lights in action. Marfa Lights are generally considered harmless. They are even rumored to have helped a lost man during a blizzard by providing warmth and guiding him home.

The ghost lights appear in many different ways to different people. Some swear they have seen them divide to form separate balls of light. Others claim that they have seen them move up and down. All agree that they glow as softly as a star at times, then brighten to the intensity of a stoplight. Sometimes they pop off and on. As they fade they seem to be receding. There are verifiable accounts of people being pursued by the lights.

Scientists have made numerous attempts to put the mystery to rest. In 1947, Fritz Kahl, a local war veteran and pilot, chased the Lights in an airplane, but came up empty. In 1975, Kahl made another attempt, this time with a team that included observers in Jeeps and planes. The “Marfa Ghost Light Hunt,” as it was called, featured “more than a hundred carloads of observers gathered between the two observation points, one at Paisano Pass and the other at the entrance to the old Presidio County Airport,” according to the Sul Ross “Skyline” newspaper. The searchers, “utilizing aircraft, survey instruments, multi-band radio equipment and about a half-dozen search teams,” were no more successful than Kahl had been in his solo search of ’47, and the legend grew.

Some believe that the lights are nothing more than high-powered lights from area ranches or the reflected headlights from nearby cars and trucks, but that doesn’t explain why the Lights have been reported since before electricity or vehicles ever reached the Big Bend area. Nor does it explain why there have been reports of observers hearing a high-pitched, “tuning fork” noise in only one ear while watching the Lights.

A Marfa lights viewing site has been provided for the public on Highway 90, by the Texas Highway department. It is located nine miles east of Marfa. Ghost light watchers can park in the area and scan the south-western horizon, looking toward Chinati Peak. Using a distant red tower light as a marker, one can be certain that any light to the right of the marker, which appears and disappears, is a Marfa ghost light. You will know them when you see them. There is no mistaking them.

The Marfa Lights Festival

The Marfa Lights Festival is celebrated every Labor Day Weekend around the Historic Presidio County Courthouse. Food and crafts vendors sell their ware while the Marfa community and guests are entertained by live music and dancing.

The Festival is kicked off on Friday night with the Marfa Lights Night Parade. Saturday morning, the more traditional parade begins late morning and travels through town with floats, the Marfa High School Band, fire and police trucks, equestrian entries and more. Each evening a special music event is offered with headliner groups making the end of a Marfa Summer a huge party. For more information, contact the Marfa Chamber of Commerce at (915) 729-4942.
